@Paranoidave Okay, Bullet certainly hopped the core bandwagon, but Trivium was pretty much always post-thrash (or groove metal, whichever you prefer) which is often mislabeled as metalcore, that's why Lamb of God, Machine Head and Dirge Within are mislabeled as metalcore.

@maksymalol I say the first album is best, it was the closest to deathcore or death metal than the newer stuff. This sounds more like Slipknot hired Mitch, kicked out Shawn and Sid and recorded. Regardless, it's still good.
