Custom computers!

Just got a new 2.1 channel sound system new just about 10 minutes prior to typing this. Guess which is the first band/song i used to test em out?

This is absurd. Iv'e lived in Portland OR, my entire life (Less then 1 mile from this bridge) Nothing out of the ordinary happens. (next time you see the UFO, put a bird on it.)

Then it has NO place for YouTube.

Actually i purchased both a ipad 2 and a kindle fire. both are JUST as responsive and capable for web browsing and youtube.. the iPad 2 has superior gaming performance and has a larger screen + cameras.. other then that.. not really earth shattering.

this is a fail in engineering. AMD FX is basically their version of netburst.

I use a 2500K + this board with a Hyper 212+ heatsink.

The combo of items does 4.5GHZ easily with a max load of 66C @1.325V

@Viczey At that point. u are limited by the sound device. a Ipod cant take advantage of their true sound quality. so my best guess. anything will work.

@4tt1 it doesn't work that way. Each core is independent. This isn't opinion.

I promise you it isn't stable. it's actually impressive alone, that you can boot at this speed. but the highest these clock on average is 3.6GHZ. anything higher means you have a good chip.

running crysis isn't impressive, any computer with a respectable dedicated GPU can do it.

the hard part is MAXING crysis.

@grenadezeroone 32nm lithography means it's more susceptible to voltage degradation and electromigration, these I5 2500k and i7 2600k's can indeed hit 5.0GHZ all day long.. but the voltage thresh hold is lower then that of previous Nehelam based i5/i7 CPU's.. 1.38V is about max safe..

Saw GTX 460 1GB SLI pull 64FPS average in crysis benchmark utility.

Guys, do you're self a favor and just grab the 1GB version.

(the 768 version not only has less memory, it has less memory bandwidth and through put) - which means not only memory is lower, this card is over all weaker then a 1GB GTX 460.

The 6970s 2GB of ram just murders Nvidia single gpu cards at very high resolutions.

So 1080P and below the GTX 570 wins. anything higher. the HD 6970 wins.

on multiplayer, drop the AA down to 2X with ultra everything (about 45-55fps then)

at 1080P i would say a HD 6970 or GTX 570 MINIMUM to max this game

how does ur fps hit 25? should stay at about 45-50 average or more

@iShadoW18 on paper yes. but the game runs better on AMD 6XXX series better then Nvidia 4XX and 5XX cards.. (Fermi sucks on crysis dude)
