The blue tint is a very common scientific process called blue shift, which is the exact opposite of red shift. I think it means the moon is moving away from you and is changing the part of light wavelength you see.

@cbr6864 That was for volcanic and tectonic activity. So the course of a few months is very justified imho, the earth isn't going to move and shift in one day. And even if you still want to call it vague, isn't a vague warning better than none at all?
