A working mans guitar amp? Blackheart guitar amps were designed on a beer-stained cocktail napkin. All new models are prototyped and tested in a one-car garage in Austin, Texas. You can practically taste the hard work that resulted in a family of amps that deliver classic boutique tone, rugged construction and full-on hot-rod-ability at a blue collar price.

Tube-driven sound is more than desirable. In fact, at Blackheart, we feel that it is vital. Our amps feature an all-tube front and back end, delivering uncompromised tone — from instantaneous punch to deliciously greasy overdrive. And since we've included a handy wattage switch, you can fully saturate those tubes while keeping the volume to a level that your mom/wife/landlord will appreciate.

A dedication to quality is evident in the materials and workmanship of each amp. This includes 1W resistors in the signal path and 16-gauge folded & welded steel chassis. A double sided PCB with 2 oz copper traces provides the hot-rodder with plenty of space and trace to pull off some amazing mods. Flexible speaker outputs let you hook up to virtually any 4, 8 or 16-ohm extension cabinet, including the ridiculously robust Blackheart cabinets, which are made of 13-ply void-free birch plywood with a durable black Tolex covering, ensuring years of use and abuse.

Building an amplifier with uncompromised tone, quality components and top workmanship without bending the customer over the barrel is our goal. Its for those who work hard and play even harder.
