"The Republican Party is the Party of personal responsibility, free enterprise, and individual initiative; it's the Party of small business. It's the Party of lower taxation and of a less-intrusive, smaller, and fiscally responsible government. The Republican Party is not the Party of white people. It's a Party of capitalist economic opportunity that allows for upward mobility and a piece of the American Dream for anyone who actively seeks it through hard work, higher education or entrepreneurship — regardless of race or skin color. It's not the Party of the rich; it's the Party of those who would strive to build wealth for the future of their children -- regardless of where they started out in life."

"I think we have a responsibility to sell capitalism and entrepreneurship to folks in desperate straits, If economically you feel yourself cut out of the American dream, I think it is our responsibility to go there and say it is alive, it is well and it is for you. Then it is their responsibility to do something with it."~Rep. Tim Scott

"This is what America's about. This is what America's about when it comes to understanding equal opportunity versus equal achievement. Each and every one of us has the opportunity for greatness in this country. A person like myself born and raised in the intercity of Atlanta, Georgia to lower middle-class parents. But I had the opportunity to get an education, to go and earn a commission in the United States Army, to serve for 22 years, to lead men and women in combat. That was done not because the government came down and tried to make the rules and change it for me. It was done because I realized I was an American. And I had the freedom and ability to do that.

We cannot live in a country where the government sits around and tries to engineer and design results and outcomes. Every time they try to do that -- everyone has a right to own a home. How does that end up? Everyone has a right to health care. How does that end up? The constitution says promote the general welfare, not provide welfare. It's about setting conditions. For our success."Congressman Allen West
About Me:

"I'm not a Republican because I grew up rich. I'm a Republican because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me" Mike Huckabee

"I recognize the Republican party as the sheet anchor of the colored man's political hopes and the ark of his safety. "Fredrick Douglas

"1. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
2. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong
3. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.
4. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
5. You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence.
6. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
7. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
8. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
9. You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
10 You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they will not do for themselves."

"Critics of modern-day black Republicans tend to regard the likes of Powell, Rice, Steele, Thomas and even me as being out of step with black thinking. Yet when viewed in the light of the historic values and aspirations of black Americans, being black and Republican makes perfect sense. Ours is the party that believes in the individual — individual rights, equal opportunity, private enterprise. We are the party that long has championed ground-breaking public education reforms such as vouchers and charter schools, which are especially well-suited to at-risk children in our nation's most troubled schools. And we are the party that stands up for the unborn, including the countless black babies snuffed out by the scourge of abortion every year.

These are values that square well with the core sentiments of the black community. What really stands between so many black Americans and the Republican Party is the smoke and mirrors of a seductive big government that promises the world but delivers only more empty promises." Ed Jones

"I reject the concept of dividing Americans into victimized groups and pandering to them. Besides, the Democrats are masters of insulting the intelligence of Americans by playing the old and tattered victim, race, and class envy cards. The GOP does not need to go down the same shameful, disgusting road.

Admittedly, there are issues which are devastating the black community: high numbers of out-of-wedlock births, epidemic school dropout rates, and 50% of black babies aborted. But these problems should not be dealt with from the standard Democrat "white folks don't care" or "it's whitey's fault" or "let's throw more money at it" point of view. The mess in the black community is proof of the utter failure of Democrat-enforced liberalism and not holding people accountable. " Llyod Marcus

"Americans chose a free enterprise system designed to provide a quality of opportunity, not compel a quality of results. And that is why this is only place in the world where you can open up a business in the spare bedroom of your home.

That is why this is the only place in the world where a company that started as an idea drawn out on the back of a cocktail napkin can one day be publicly traded on Wall Street. That's why this is the only country in the world where today's employee is tomorrow's employer. And yet, there are still people in American politics who, for some reason, cling to this belief that America is better off adopting the economic policies of nations whose people who immigrate here from there."~Marco Rubio

"The Democrats say that the United States has had its days in the sun, that our nation has passed its zenith. They expect you to tell your children that the American people no longer have the will to cope with their problems, that the future will be one of sacrifice and few opportunities. My fellow citizens, I utterly reject that view." -- Ronald Reagan

"If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual (gay) sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery, ... You have the right to anything. Does that undermine the fabric of our society? I would argue yes, it does."Rick Santorum

Research shows children living with their married biological parents are less likely to abuse alcohol and drugs more likely to achieve college degrees get better jobs and have happy marriages. Why ignore facts? The liberal view has no right or wrong only tolerance or intolerance diversity or narrow minded. They believe traditional morality and virtue are unfair in parenting one's own children. Liberals believe in no fault freedom only achieved by eliminating the family or rendering meaningless."

"Blame rich people who fund my campaign, blame white people, blame Republicans, blame Bush just don't blame me". President Obama delivers here the most childish state of the union ever. Obama didn't tout any of his accomplishments because he doesn't have any. 8.5% unemployment, 11% latino unemployment, 16% black unemployment, record deficits in the trillions each year, bigotry against Christians and a complete failure of a President.

"Just point to history" said Loayza. "What has Obama done for Latinos? What did Clinton do? Nobody talks about that. Who's the last person who passed immigration reform? Ronald Reagan. Bush appointed more Latinos than anybody else. Nobody talks about that. Just point to history."

Recognizing the failure of the federal government to meet its commitments in curbing illegal immigration, Gov. Warner took aggressive action: 2003: signed legislation requiring proof of legal residency before obtaining or renewing a driver's license. 2004: approved legislation detaining illegal immigrants already convicted of felonies for 72 hours without bond until federal agents arrive. 2005: banned illegal immigrants from receiving state benefits such as Medicaid and welfare

How would you feel if 75% of the voting electorate, whites, had a purity test & called each other sellouts & voted 95% for 1 party? Democrats would not win 1 race or 1 state. This kind of talk is crazy & speaks to the entitlement mentality of democrats bc they feel entitled to the votes of people of color & women,Just one is born a race or gender does not make them a robot, well at least in the eyes of a democrat it does while they elect all white guys to represent their party sans obama

Prominent Psychiatrist Announces
New Study Results: "Some Gays Can Change"

"Like most psychiatrists," says Dr. Robert Spitzer, "I thought that homosexual behavior could be resisted, but sexual orientation could not be changed. I now believe that's untrue--some people can and do change."

Go Chris Christie! These liberals don't know what they are talking about. They are reading talking points from the White House.Obama is lying about his position, not evolving. The 1st lady admitted the 2 supreme court justices support non-traditional marriage.Funny seeing Harold Ford, a Federal Marriage Amendment Supporter, flip flop to kiss the ring of the liberals. When was the last time gays working the fields or have separate eating facilities? Marriage is not a civil right.

Obama does not go to church on a weekly basis.Obama does not follow Christian doctrine on contraception, abortion, traditional marriage & Obama is more sympathetic to muslims than to Christians. Obama is not a Christian, there is a difference between being baptized, or ceremonially accepted into a faith & abiding by those rules. Obama does not follow any Christian doctrine & is not faithful to his faith, therefore obama is not a Christian. How judge otherwise than by actions?
