Marty had some great performances. My favorite was his rendition of "Hit Me Baby One More Time"... This, on the other hand, was pretty darn bad. His intonation is so bad at the end it becomes difficult to continue listening.

Everything Simon said was correct. He didn't mention that the audition was a little gimmicky, vocally, and lacked the depth one would expect from an elite singer. His "no" was his opinion; I am suspecting his feeling was that singers like what he was hearing are a dime a dozen.

Man, it kills me that Dream Theater and Mike Portnoy have parted ways. He was the beating heart behind this band; I don't think either side will be the same without the other.
