Peterson-Berger, "När jag för mig själv i mörka skogen går"
PIAMOREX plays the piano and Daniel Svenson sings. Recorded in may 2009
lyssna på sången till livet ett halvt år senare och hör utveckling från denna musikaliska men tekniskt ganska medelmåttiga inspelning. Bra jobbat Daniel! Vad hände under sommaren egentligen?

@Crystalsball Karin Glenmark didn´t sing this role but the role of Florence, Freddies wife. This is Anatolij singing to his wife Svetlana. I think Lena Eriksson sang that part on the swedish tour.

He is shaking like a leaf and sounds as pushed and strained as a singer can be without destroying his instrument immeditly.

Alfredo Kraus "Je crois entende" Les Pecheurs des perles
Cologne, 1970
@penstu1967 Yes a non supported falsetto tone is the ideal in opera! Or? Villazon has a beautyful instrument but he plays on it with a technique that will lead him to ruin! Kraus sang 9 high C at the age of 60 with accuracy and voice, something that Rolando never will have.

Bro över mörka vatten - Måns & Carola
The song "Bridge over troubled water" is swedish "Bro över mörka vatten. Måns Zelmerlöw and Carola

"Nessun dorma" - Turandot - Franco Corelli
Another live record of Turandot aria:
"Nessun dorma"
with
Franco Corelli, tenor
@brunobrandy I said that not as a statement of Paul Potts being comparable to an Icon like Franco Corelli in any way, but to tell that taste or lack of taste is very personal.

Jose Cura: Di quella pira ( il Trovatore)
Curas sings di quella pira from il trovatore of Giuseppe Verdi
When I hear Cura I get sad because anyone can hear the potential of a truly great performance with a very manly presence and voice, but the voice is muffled and lacks squillo, compare this with Aureliano Pertile, Mario Filippeschi, Franco Corelli or Franco Bonisolli and hear the obvious difference

Highlights of the fantastic Semi Final between Novak Djokovic ...
he get´s very few opportunities to play that shot. I love Roger´s game but against Nadal he get´s locked out and that´s boring. Against Djokovic you need to be extremely aggressive just as Roger is in this match, you also need to serve really, really well, just as Roger did in Paris hitting the o...

The difference between today and in the last golden age of singing in the 50´, in my opinion is keeping an open throat and still having a great amount of acuti in the voice. Singing over 50% in and around the passagio without a teacher that knows how to manoeuvre the voice in that area is dangerous and damaging to the voice, at least in my opinion. @kiepura1902 As long as you like strained high notes and a little overnasal sound then Domingo is your guy. His best roles were Don Jose and Simson because they don´t require a lot of high notes. "Deh vieni alla finestra" from Don Giovanni (Aix en Provence).
Don Giovanni: Peter Mattei

@SuperDarchangel Siepi was a basso-cantate and Mattei is a high lyric baritone, that´s what has happened to this role since the early 2000th century.
