Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - Ashford & Simpson (1967)- hit from album 'United' without music.
Listen Baby Ain't no mountain high Ain't no valley low Ain't no river wide enough If you need me call me No matter where you are No matter how far Don't worry baby Just call my name I'll be there in a hurry You don't have to worry
Cause baby There Ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough Ain't no river wide enough To keep me from getting to you baby
Remember that day I set you free I Told you you could always count on me darlin From that day on I made a vow I'll be there when you want me, Someway somehow
cause baby there Ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough Ain't no river wide enough To keep me from getting to you
oh no darling No wind, no rain All winter's cold can't stop me baby No, no, baby Cause you're are my goal.
If you're ever in trouble I'll be there on the double Just send for me yeah, oh baby
My love is alive Way down in my heart Although we are miles apart
If you ever need a helping hand I'll be there there on the double Just As fast as I can
Don't you know that there
Ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough Ain't no river wide enough To keep me from getting to you Don't you know that there Ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough Ain't no river wide enough Ain't no mountain high enough

Celebrating now over 50 years of Motown music with a song that has become one of the most universally admired of all Motown releases, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". Although the song only peaked at #19 in June of 1967, the subsequent tragic deaths of both Tammi Terrell, of a brain tumor at the age of 24, and Marvin Gaye, shot to death by his father in 1984, have seemed to lend the song meaning beyond its music and lyrics through the years. Interestingly, when the song was first recorded, Tammi had not rehearsed the lyrics and was a bit intimidated by trying to sing in duo with Marvin so they allowed her to do her bit solo and later added Marvin's vocals to the soundtrack. The song was written by Nicholas Ashford and Valerie Simpson.
