We are creating videos with the hope of getting others interested in the biocentric universe, the remarkable (and challenging) way of looking at life, the Cosmos, probability, time, and consciousness. We are not declaring that this theory is true — only that it is sufficiently plausible to warrant empirical testing.
This theory says that the order or structure seen in the universe (the "classical world") comes together on the receiving end, as a function of observation by living organisms such as yourself (as well as technological devices built by humans). The theory challenges the conventional assumption that objects "out there" have absolute, predefined, and pre-existing properties, which living things can only passively discover. Instead, the universe "out there" is just like the electron cloud around an atom, turned inside-out: It consists of potentials or probabilities for objects with specific properties to be found. But as with electrons, when we look, we find objects with *specific* properties rather than only potential properties.
In the biocentric view, the universe is far simpler than is currently thought; the "fine-tuning" of universal constants and laws is explained intuitively, without the need to invoke multiple universes, intelligent designers, or other complex, untestable entities. The theory also solves other persistent problems in 21st-century science, such as the measurement problem, retrocausality, the Boltzmann brain problem, and the Fermi paradox.
