I was delighted with our Holiday program with great singers and a great band at Maxwell DeMille's Cicada Club. You can see this show and all of the other "Johnny Holiday Program" broadcasts at www.cicadaclub.com or here on youtube produced by Famouspictures. There really are some remarkable performances by our guests and we had record attendance both in the house as well as on-line during the show.

Johnny Holiday spent a bit of time on television starting in 1969 but mostly worked nightclubs and hotels, opening for the headliners such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Jerry Vale, Dick Haymes, Johnnie Ray,Eddie Fisher John Gary,Tony Martin, Frankie Laine, Mel Torme and others.
Johnny sang with various bands including 4 years with Ernie Hecksher in The Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel a top Nob Hill in San Francisco, The Beverly Wilshire, The Hollywood Roosevelt, Eden Roc, The Deauville, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis, The Fountainbleu and other Hotel's and Resorts throughout North America, Canada, and South America. Johnny sang for dancers, debutante balls, and parties. This was at a time which really was the last gasp of what was called, "Cabaret Society". Johnny performs from time to time at benefits and once in awhile at Maxwell DeMille's World Famous Cicada Club with Dean Mora's Orchestra.
