About Bimsum Production
Michael Dikizeyeko
is a multitalent singer and musician.
He was born in the right heart of Africa, in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo, former Zaire). Because of the war that was devastating the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1997, Michael decided to go on with his life in Germany. He played here with numerous bands and musician friends around the whole country.
Album
His debut, "Muana", is entitled from a Lingala word meaning "Child". The album invites the listener into the musical world of one of the most remarquable upcoming voices in world and African music. Michael wrote the lyrics of all ten songs on "Muana" and even composed half of the album himself.
The album is made up with each of Michael's influences and is a blend of Congolese traditional music, pop, hip-hop, folk and Congolese rumba.
It results in a unique however universal sound that naturally falls into one category:
Spiritual World Music.
