@Thejbirdy Yeah, that's a great bass part. Typical of disco bass with it's use of octaves. I've got the 45rpm single of this, with the B side an instrumental, and recently found the sheet music for this in my collection, with the complete bass part! I'm havin fun playin' it!

Progressive does seem to offer many types of discounts. Two companies, USAA and GEICO, built much of their business, if I recall correctly, around military members and government employees. Does Progressive offer any discounts for federal or state government employees? Just curious.

@ohhhwolfy I also had good memories of this toon as a kid. As soon as I saw the movie previews, I could sense it wasn't going to be any good, so I didn't even bother going to see it!. From what I've heard about the movie, I'm glad I didn't see it!

Loved these 60's Jay Ward toons. Great puns, subtle humor , find 'em funnier now than when I was a kid in the 60's. Since the Duke, John Wayne, was around when this was made, wonder what he would've thought of this obvious parody of his vocal inflections.
