Grew up oral in Mississippi and was an audist until learned ASL at Gallaudet and married Shirley Frelich from North Dakota and raised two Deaf children.
Now I am an advocator promoting bilingual philosophy for all Deaf babies and children school so they will not be deprived with language and education.
To further my calling to help Deaf babies and children in schools, I founded Deaf Bilingual Coalition and wrote a novel book, MindField, http://aslstudentmindfield.wordpress.com/
