Greetings from the great Pacific Northwest!
I am a self taught musician on many different instruments. I started out playing piano at age four and Santa Claus brought me my first drum set when I was seven. I started playing bass guitar in eighth grade and six string by my freshman year. I love to play country and rock & roll music! I read music but play by ear mostly. I actually learn a lot quicker that way. My friends can't believe how fast I can start to pick out a song. It has been almost fifty years now since I began to play as a kid. I tell everyone that it's all just second nature to me! If you do the math, I started playing guitar right around the same time that Journey released their first album. Neal Schon and his style has always made him my favorite guitar player on the planet! His guitar speaks to me in volumes like no other player in the world and he will always be my greatest inspiration as a guitar player myself!

Music and the outdoors! Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Boating, and Snowmobiling in winter in the Cascade Mountains! I would love to retire in Alaska and live off the land if at all possible. Dick Proenneke, you're my hero. RIP! (Alone In The Wilderness / PBSTV)
