I'm not a big fan of bob Dylan, but this song is a work of art. Funny, many years ago the first several times I heard it, I thought at the end he finally came clean and said what he REALLY wanted was those boots.

The Russians put on a class act in Vancouver with this. They must have been proud when this was sung.

Ian Tyson's a national treasure for Canada. His body of work is big and powerful. I was lucky enough to see him live in a small venue in Calgary several years back. When he sang this tune everybody sang it. It was like he was singing the national anthem.

Love this song. It has to be one the all time best country tunes.

Great song. I never heard the original by Pulp when it first came out, but this is pretty fun.
