sazh is an extremely underrated character. what he lacks in strength, he surely makes up for it in buffing, cold blood and blitz. if you use cold blood/death/one man army/what hope's is, switch the leader to a commander role for maximum damage without depleting the chain gauge.

you should only use highwind and sovereign fist after you stagger your opponent or else you may not end your battles with a 5 star ranking. best time to use it though is right before their stagger ends, or after you get their chain gauge to 999% and know you'll kill them with it.

commandos deal more damage than any other role as they have augmented attacks. you need a genji glove to do this amount of damage. it's like hitting highwind or southern fist just without the stagger level resetting after the attack. first time i killed one, it gave me a trapezohedron and the tro...

@CyberThechSlifer i don't know but i've checked it's value in the stores. they made it a challenge to try and earn gil in this game.

gold nugget is better than nothing. dark matter is a great reward, but it's resell value is extremely low so if your trying to get more gil, you should hope they drop the gold nugget instead.

if you find yourself near death, have 2 medics and a sentential at the ready. it also helps to have this paradigm when the thing decides to roar as it may stun you. you don't dip down to the danger zone and with a bit of healing and ensuna, your party is back at the ready.

i was lucky enough to get a trapozehedron from a adamantoise once. one time, i landed a successful death on the third attempt without having to call in a summon to back me up.

unless you begin the fight with a preemptive strike, you will not get 5 stars. also, if you use 3 commandos with lightning wielding her quick stagger weapon, as soon as her first attack hits, the thing will be staggered so long as you begin with a preemptive strike.
