Yeah ammo is heavy, 556 is not so bad in pmags, I tend to have anywhere between 10 and 20 loaded mags with me when I take the AR out depending on how much other gear Im lugging on top of that. At my house though, god help them because the ammo is right there and I can switch guns when one heats up too much. On a side note this is why I love 17hmr, pissed off little bullet that has almost no flash and you can take thousands with you, limited range though unfortunately but nothing is perfect.

Dont do too many rounds of chemo, its not made to cure you of cancer, its made to make you die faster so the insurance companies dont have to spend money on your treatment for too long. Yes, there is a term for it "planned obsolescence", where parts are made to wear out after a certain number of uses, and they dont make replacement parts for many things so you throw them away and buy a new one. There is also the extra performance part to it, guns, vehicles and electronics all have the same problem, the harder it performs the faster it wears out, in other words the smaller tolerances you use in production the less variation the product can handle and will wear out quicker...

There is a much better one piece item made by Phase 5 Tactical that is a direct replacement for the stock paddle and does not require you hacking up your lower, it sits in a better place, does not get in the way for anti rotation pins or ambi bullet button and only requires removing one pin to install, and yes it does come with a new pin so you dont have to worry about it. Yes, its a nice action, but how about weight, recoil and price of ammo in the equation? I like both but out of the two the Mosin is the only one I would shoot standing up or even on the move, and the price of ammo gives me a day at the range over the half hour with the Mauser. I suppose the question is what do you want to use the rifle for really. P. S. have you seen the new Archangel stock/detach mag conversion for the Mosin? I think that upgrade puts it ahead of the 98 instantly.

Look, what I posted is my opinion based on my personal experience, some people will have a different feeling about this rifle and they can buy it. I find bullpups to be very purpose based rifles, designed for urban house to house combat. As far as future weapons show, well lets just say I prefer to watch Sturmgewehre and a few other guys on youtube, a bit less sales pitchy propaganda and a bit more down to business proper reviewing going on here...
