Saw him in Hanford, CA about 1988 or 1989 (I think). This song was a current hit for him back then. I was in high school. . . I'd give anything to go back to those times. One of my favorite songs of all times.

Sweetness, Sweetness, Sweetness. . . Such a beautiul voice, beautiful song! I dont quite remember when this song came out but I was either in high shcool or just past it. . . Fell in love with SB when I ffrst heard "Cross My Broken Heart" way back when. . . oh, the memories.

Great song by Vern. . .used to listen to him back in high school. This song came out in 1988 or 1989 right? What a chilling voice he had, much like George Jones. Funny, I'm now 40 yrs old trying to find all of the great songs of 80's country music. RIP Vern.
