I read the article and it says moving around and stretching a bit can curb the negative effects of sitting for long periods of time.

I have a random question:

If programs like Eclipse and FrostWire are written in java then how do the developers create installation packages and executables for the .jar files? I was under the impression you could only run a java program (on the desktop), from a .jar file.

I'm dual booting Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows 7 and right now I think Ubuntu is doing pretty good. Unity takes some getting use to but all in all it's really easy to use and not too buggy. I think it's more solid than Gnome 3, but not as visually appealing as KDE.

I've been messing with Windows 8 on VM Ware and I don't think Metro is a problem at all. In some ways I think it'll be easier for users because they will have everything right in front of them instead of going through the start menu. Plus I'm amazed at how Win 8 uses very little system resources....

As far as friendliness goes I think they are both friendly enough.

Anyone with half a brain can see that Fox and MSNBC are clearly Republican and Democrat mouth pieces. CNN does it but I don't think they are as bad as the other two.

On my machine IE 9 and Safari 5.1.2 are both equal to each other (based on these tests)
