Nice video. Keep posting, it's great to see progress taking shape. Are you playing in a band ?
I have a Tee Don board also although I got mine through ebay. I'm in the west coast of Scotland and playing in a Cajun band there. I generally use thimbles on all four fingers of each hand. It allows m...

THE VIZZITORS.
Nowt arranged the now. WTS.
BIO.
I'm Graham Moncrieff.
Been a Blues drummer for 25+ years throughout Ayrshire and the Glasgow delta. I played with the likes of The Hound-dogs,The Blues Devils, 7th Sons, Come Ahead, Bogus Bob and the Bicycle Thieves.
Over the last couple of years though I've concentrated (yeah ? ? ?, really ! ! ! ! ! ) on playing the washboard and Frottoir, ( the Zydeco Rubboard or 'full metal simmit' ). Primarily so I could go along to jam sessions and house parties and torment people . . . . eh . . . join in. You can't turn up at a folk session with a drum kit under your arm. This led to the band I'm currently with, Jimmy Wolfe. A full on 4/5 piece acoustic jumble of untidyness playing Cajun, Irish, Folk, Bluegrass, Scottish, Zydeco and Blues.
I've got a couple of Frottoir ( and a Frott-iette )and a load of washboards, and although my drums are still in the shed, I do like to polish them once in a while when the wife's out. They're a right mishmash of bits. with Tama, Pearl, Ludwig and Premier with mostly Zildjian, Istanbul and Sabian cymbals.
Outwith the Wolfe my big love is Chicago and Deta Blues. Muddy and the Wolf, Jimmy Rogers and Little Walter, Champion Jack and Hound Dog Taylor, Jimmy Reed and T-Bone Walker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Mance Lipscomb and Son House.
So I'm a Blues fan, but still find time for Rancid, Gogol Bordello, the Dixie Chicks, Johnny Cash, Alabama 3 and the Balham Alligators, Gram Parsons and Hank Williams.
Neil.
Sorry about that. Two years to reply, must be some sort of record.
Please check your Moonshine webpage for a more lengthy reply.
Cheers.
Graham.
