@MAXPWNAGE00001 Late in Halo 2, if you happen to pass your aiming reticule over them, some Grunts do show up as allies. It's assumed that some Grunts followed their Elite commanders in joining the seperatists. However, in Halo 3 they are never used as allies, likely to prevent confusion.
