This is magnificent and to the people who dislike this Away and boil your heid and make stupid soup. Saw this lot 30 odd years ago and this and the other side of the record are still great.

@Kurtney4594 Unknown Pleasures is a truly great album and début album along with Nevermind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols, number 3 and 2 in my order of greatness, Nevermind The Bollocks just pipping Unknown Pleasures due to the fact it was life changing. So hard to disagree but I will.

I didn't like The Skids, seen them in Edinburgh circa 78, I don't like U2, seen them in Edinburgh, late 80's early 90's, and I'm not a fan of Green Day, but this was a great cover of a good song and for a brilliant cause

@Lynnie318 The vid is parts of Control the film about Ian Curtis' life and death. This must be backed by the rest of Joy Division because the singer is sitting in front of New Order's Get Ready LP cover. Fair attempt, but not my thing. I'll stick to the original.

@ThePaLaDiP was Big John not in the Mekons at that time then. Also I thought you were with Fast records. Anyway brilliant song came just at the right time. I still have it somewhere.

Saw them as a teenager at Clouds in Edinburgh, with The Mekons and I've had very little nights that top that. I even talked to Faye Fyfe that night.

I have heard the Gallows version of this and to say it is shit really gives shit a bad name.
