Though may age may be young my mind is old. Unlike many teens I am deeply involved in politics and other world affairs. In recent years, I have shaped my beliefs around the Democratic Party. I consider myself a Populist leaning liberal. I am strong supporter of Gun Control, Abortion Rights, Stem Cell Research, Alternative Energy, Freedom of Speech, Separation of Church and State, as well as Gay Marriage and Pay as You Go Legislating. Unfortunately, over the past six years our President, George W. Bush, has dug this country into a very deep hole. The Iraq War has us pinned to the ground. The country as a hole cannot prosper with 100 billion dollars a year being directed at this preemptive war. Our government ought to institute a political solution in Iraq and fast! It is for that reason in which I am supporting the Presidential Campaign of Joe Biden (D-DE). Sen. Biden is the only person with any realistic plan at all. It is based on a loose partition of states. He suggests separate the fighting sanctions; separate the Sunnis, separate the Shiite, and separate the Kurds. Have a weak central government with only three jobs: spreading the oil evenly, patrolling the boarders of Iraq, and dealing with foreign affairs. This way each religious section can have control over the fabric of their daily lives. The cycle of self-sustaining sectarian violence in Iraq will then subside and with the placement of a UN Peace Keeping Union American troops will be able to withdraw immediately. This is the first and only sensible plan for Iraq. With the depth and breath of experience Joe Biden has compiled over the past 34 years in the Senate I trust him, above all others to lead America out of Iraq and into the futre
