Bharati S. Kemraj Kavita was born on July 22, 1983 in Meten Meer Zorg, Guyana and came to New York when she was seven years old. Bharati is the daughter of Pandit Vishnu Sukul, a Hindu Priest.
She graduated from Fordham University in May 2006, with a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies, concentration in Journalism and a minor in Business Administration.
Currently working at the Leron's Community Service Center as the Director of Program and Community Relations she is responsible for developing and coordinating all aspect of LCSC program and community relationships including planning, leading and controlling activities, interviews and organization needs.
As a freelancer Bharati is the Founder and President of "BHARATI: Where the Magic of Exposure Becomes Reality", where she specializes in publicity, consultanting, developing social networking presence and blogging.
Bharati worked at BronxNet Television, carrying out duties as administrative assistant to the executive director, as a reporter and associate producer for the BronxNet program "OPEN." She continues to produce her own weekly one hour programs "Vishnu Mandir: Voice of Hinduism," Voice of Hindu Dharma, and "MASTI" as a public access producer.
