Horses aren't just a hobby ♥

I'm Beth and from watching my videos you have probably gathered that I am one of the crazy bunch that love horses :)

Oakington Riding School;
(March 2003 - September 2009 ♥)
This place was where my love of horses first started, my grandma bought me a riding lesson for my 8th birthday and I loved it! For my first lesson, I rode a very furry 12.2 chestnut pony called Squirrel in a thunderstorm! Hail and everything .. despite this, I loved every minutre and carried on riding at Oakington. I learnt to walk, trot, canter and jump and when I was 11, I began helping out and learnt the basics in looking after horses and how to run a yard. When I was 14, I was allowed to be 'main helper' which meant organising the younger helpers and the awful job of getting to the yard at 8 on a saturday :| to open up and catch and groom 8 muddy ponies virtually on my own! I loved leading the younger children at Oakington, most of them were very cute! And also enjoyed helping out in the lessons where I taught some of the girls to jump and spent most of my time calling dressage tests which we did as a yearly exam. It was a very hard decision to make when I had won the highest dressage test you could do there, but I figured that there wasnt really much else that I could learn so I had to go. I still miss that place and sometimes I wish I hadnt left, I had to leave many of my best friends behind and my favourite horse Jamel who is still one of the best horses I have ever ridden.

Coach House Riding School;
(October 2009 - Present :) ♥)
I came to coach house after my old instructor recommended it to me as the owner was one of her good friends. My first lesson was on Hugo, who I quickly grew to love and he is still one of my favourites now. At coach house, I think my riding has improved a lot and I have learnt so much from riding more challenging horses. I am currently working through my ABRS rider and stable management exams and I hope to finish them before I leave here :) ♥

When I am older I would love to teach people to ride, but I'm not sure yet :)

All of the videos you see on here are made on Windows Live Movie Maker, I once had Sony Vegas, but you clearly need a physics degree to use it so until someone teaches me how you lot will have to put up with amateur stuff! :P
