Collections: Pasek and Paul - Edges 21 Videos
Benj Pasek and Justin Paul graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in Musical Theatre in December 2006. Their musical revue "Edges" is amazing and is being performed across the country.
The intention of "Edges", as described by the authors, is to explore the lives of four people who "have succumbed to the definitions that they are forced into by their social surroundings" and come to "question whether they are simply stuck being who others want them to be, or whether they can indeed break through to discover their own potential." Unfortunately, many of the best performances of "Edges" were removed from YouTube on 7 Dec 2007. However, the remaining videos still demonstrate the talent of this singer/songwriter pair. What if Billy Joel came to your college... and you had the nerve to ask if you could sing a duet with him... and he said yes... and then you sang as well or better than anyone he ever sang with...
It happened in 1998 - and this is the recording of that event.
