Yo, is it the mic, or is your distortion super gainy? If you want a really Gilmour-y sound, I'd recommend a drive pedal, or a boost for an amp distortion, as when he plays this song he uses a high watt amp to get that all-encompassing insane distortion for the solo

If thats your most awkward experience, count yourself lucky.

You should watch out for boss pedals. What you do hear could easily be done with a single channel amplifier with the gain way up, and the tone down on the bridge pickup of your guitar. Running that many pedals all at once gives you a overloaded mess of BOSS crap.

The fact that the solo is cut off literally almost made me cry.
