Good for you! Never be afraid to stand up for your home and community. Criminals rely of fear to tear down a community. Give all your videos to the media and force your local police to clean up your area.

Thanks! You rock!
Seattle is such a dump anymore. It's nothing but crackheads, bums, thugs and drunks. You inspired me to shoot and post similar videos from my Capital Hill Neighborhood so everyone can see the realities of the drunk house a couple blocks away. Let's hope someday city hall finally sobers up, puts down the bong and does something besides tell us what water to drink... |

Wow, I should of posed all the video from when I lived in Belltown. I lived there in 2000-02. I lived on 4th and Bell in the charlesgate. The crime was ridiculous. when my apt manager showed me the king county website for the sex offenders within one bloc-there were over 40. Any belltown resident remembers fondly good old 'Crack Park" on third and bell which I believe had to be converted to a gated secure dog park. I still can't find people who lived in Belltown who actually know the real name of that park. The last night I lived in Belltown before I moved to beautiful Portland, someone was stabbed in the alley and I got to awaken to their screams for help. What Sh*thole that whole area was. The local homeless would tell me stories about how the cops would give them money or bus them away for the summer when the tourists would show up. And after every bumbershoot they'd all re-colonize the alleys and dumpsters. Thanks for posting a real side of Seattle thats always been there.

Wow.
I'm glad that you are doing this, and I'm happy that your story was in the newspaper today. It should get more people to notice your situation. |
