@VCurse If you didn't reflux the capiciters before reheated them, you wasted your time. Also, this method is usually a permanent fix. I did it to my ylod'd ps3 in 2009 and its still running fine in 2011.

I use a heat gun to fix graphics cards all the time. 99 times out of a 100 it just a simple crack or broken connection in the core flux and all it needs is to be reheated and reflowed.
