Gone but not forgotten. Alive in our hearts forever! That is the spirit.

Your response just shows how we all grieve in our own ways. But eventually one must come out of denial. Admitting that Bob is gone does not erase his legacy or fond memories we have of him -- indeed, he would surely be happy to know that even in the tragedy of his passing we are all coming together like this to remember and celebrate his extraordinary life. Don't you think?

I prefer the older TPIR episodes, you know, back when Bob Barker was alive.

The guy ended up with $2500. Carey made it sound all great. I'm sure Bob, if he were still around to see this, would disapprove of Carey hamming it up to such a degree. After taxes $2500 barely pays the contestant's travel costs.

Such a touching tribute to the great man that was Bob Barker!

ah the good 'ole days, back when Bob was still telling jokes, and breathing.

Not sure why everyone is arguing. You'd think that the tragic loss of Bob Barker would bring us all together, not divide. Sad.

For everyone talking about the taxes, wouldn't it have been nice if Bob Barker would have donated some of his money into a fund that could pay for future winners' tax burdens? Wish someone would have discussed this idea with Bob while there was still a chance to do so.

Man you know if Bob were still breathing, he'd be all over Jenny.

This is so sad, but a touching and noble tribute to a great man. We will miss you, Bob!

Amazing that after all these years, that old bat Dorothy lives on, whilst the star of the show does not.

Janice in a nighty. Bob is no doubt looking down on this posting, smiling, and reminiscing on what went down on that bed after the cameras were off!

Didn't anyone ever tell you it's not polite to speak ill of the departed? Leave Bob alone!

Back in Bob's day he'd use that million bucks to spay a bunch of dogs and cats. Now that he's out of the way, Drew just doles out the money to random people.

Kind of an insensitive comment by you considering that poor Bob Barker has no more birthdays to celebreate. :( :(

agree that Bob did a lot to animals to help animals. If only we could bring Bob back to continue doing that good work.

Would never comment about the departed, but it does feel slightly racist that the host rebuffed all efforts for a hug or any physical contact after the contestant won.

Thanks for posting this, quite possibly the last television appearance Bob ever made. He certainly went out strong!

This was amazing, but still doesn't ease the pain of losing Bob. I'm sure he's looking down on all of us and smiling.

This left Bob in such shock, he's probably rolling in the grave even now.

Bob would have never let him molest one of his beauties like that (at the end). But Bob has plenty of real angels to play with now. God bless him!
