Rules of the Role-play:

#1: Roleplay is a form of art. Therefore, it's meant to be treated as such. If you come here with nothing but rude things to say about POTO don't bother saying them at all. (Because I WILL block you) Respect me and I will respect you. ^^

#2: Please DO NOT give me one sentence start off's in a Roleplay. I have seen FAR too many of these. Example: "You see a guy with blonde hair and looks shy" It really annoys me. Especially when they don't use proper grammar. If you're going to Roleplay, give details and make it as interesting as possible. I've been roleplaying for a good 2 or 3 years now. I know a good roleplayer when I see one.

#3: I just know at least one of you is going to have your female character come after the Phantom saying "I love you!" and stuff like that. That is O.K with me. (It is Gerard Butler after all) Just keep your perversions to yourself please. This is not a private chat room, anyone can see what you post. For my sake and yours, keep it PG-13. Thank you.

Erik (The Phantom of the Opera) is a seemingly cold, cruel and mysterious man who haunts an Opera house in Paris, France. Some believe he exists, some do not. He does not show himself to the public often, and when he does he always wears a mask to hide his face. Nobody knows where he came from, or why he wears a mask. What's even more interesting is that he personally goes out of his way to humiliate actors who he despises and frighten those who fail to heed his warnings. He also writes and sends several letters to his "managers" and instructs them on how his opera house ought to be run. If they ignore him, a terrible disaster occurs on the stage, by his doing of course.

With the right woman, he briefly appears to be kind and compassionate. He can become so attached to someone that he will start to stalk her and even create wax sculptures of her. He will go to such great lengths just to be with that person, in fact he'd be willing to kill for a woman that he loves.

Not that it happens often. He also reveals his artistic soul through enchanting singing. He speaks in poetic terms and often expresses emotion through his music. Despite his violent nature, he succeeds in all aspects of creativity. Through art, magic, architecture and song writing. He is also very skilled with the sword. He exceeds all expectations of others, even those who fear him. Some may go so far as to call him a genius.

But clearly genius has turned to madness...
