About this user
I'm a laid back, down-to-earth creative type who is looking for a monogamous woman who is affectionate, compassionate, patient and friendly. I'm a gentleman who has never once cheated on or lied to a woman, and am looking for someone with the same degree of integrity.I am very anti-drug and have never smoked pot. I'm understanding of someone's past, but I want to be with someone who is mature enough to not dabble in recreational drug or dope use.
Despite this conservative streak, I am a Roosevelt democrat and am surprisingly patient and open-minded. Although I'm not a freak or require a girl to be, I'm still fine with being spontaneous with a gal I'm with.
I also don't practice organized religion (although I was raised Jewish). My feeling is that most people abuse their scriptures and use them as a crutch to justify doing things they shouldn't. I'm just fine with a gal who has a religion, but please don't require me to convert or go to church every week, because I can't do it. My conscience is just fine and I have ZERO skeletons in my closet -- I have a much cleaner track record than any of my religious friends, so not to worry about whether I'll treat you right. I am 100% monogamous and know how to treat a lady like a lady.
I play guitar (rhythm) and have written over 1,000 songs. I sing and sometimes perform in coffee houses, although my main pursuit these days is composing a musical and trying to get somewhere with my cartooning as an illustrator.
I absolutely love stage musicals, movies and music, and my hope is to one day combine the three as a career.
My heroes in music are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, ELO, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra, Nat "King" Cole, Judy Garland, Lena Horne, Benny Goodman, Beethoven, Rimsky-Korsakov and Tschaikovsky.
My heroes in comedy are: George Carlin, Chris Rock, Steve Martin, Lewis Black, Richard Jeni, the Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin and Rodney Dangerfield.
My heroes in songwriting are: John Lennon & Paul McCartney, Rodgers & Hammerstein II, Cole Porter, Elton John & Bernie Taupin, Cander & Ebb, Lerner & Lowe, Johnny Mercer and Bob Dylan.
On a more personal note: I am someone who has a major oral fixation and am hoping to find a busty woman who is the same. Contrary to occasional derision I receive for this, it does not mean I am any less sincere a person for this -- it is an irreconcilable orientation (ergo, we like what we like; and the best way to prevent an argument is to find someone who agrees with you; hence my mentioning this up front).
I'm not looking for a Star Jones: a bossy, self-centered survivalist who always looks out for number one. (In a real relationship, no one's the boss.) I am looking for a friend and a lover, someone who is caring and understands what it is to actually be someone's partner and have their back beyond when things are easy and simple. (I don't use lame cliches, like "keepin' it real" or "100" -- I just treat people the way I want to be treated, and that takes care of the honesty factor.)
Finally, I am single, unattached, have no kids and I've never been married. I have my own place and live alone, have a job and a car, am d/d/d-free, don't smoke (please do not be a smoker), drink rarely, have a good sense of humor, am affectionate and am very passionate on many levels (and hoping to find someone who is the same).
