dark techstep jungle/dnb all choons made by me, no drum loops used ever in my music,

when i say no drum loops used in my music, i mean no pre-made (other peoples loops), i find a drum loop that i like the sound of, load it into dr.rex loop player, then i load the same loop into nn-xt digital sampler, then i draw an empty box on the sequencer player thingy midjig thing, for nn-xt, then i just use the loop as a drum kit, and pencil in notes to my liking, the original drum loop isnt used atall,

when you are trying this, just remember, dont move the loop to track, you only need dr.rex and nn-xt to have the same loop loaded, then just draw an empty sequence box on nn-xt, then create your breaks from scratch, its really good fun, dont just make 1 or 2 breaks, try and make 3 to 7 breaks, then mix it all up :D i hope this ranting was helpful
