About this user
I lived in L.A. for about four years, but I have returned to Seattle where I grew up; where the collective view of L.A. was 'a place for a different kind of person.' It's not for us. Even though half the people in Washington wish they were from California, and about an eighth of the people in California are from Washington. Being born in Washington does something to you. Something about that place convinces you that you were born there because that's where God wants you. It's a very cornered perspective. That being said, I can't wait for my career (which is in the movie business, naturally. As they say in the movie, 'Get Shorty,' There ain't no point in living in L.A. unless you're in the movies) to allow me to go back to Western Washington, to co-exist here and there.
