If ya don't mind my being picky, which one is gonna fit the hand better, when used bare handed....without ripping my hand up, grip contour, whatever....I would personally wanna be familiar with how well I'd hold onto it, without the benefit of the glove aiding or affecting my grip, etc...

Good vid ! It may also be wise to intentionally use a pack, or disguise it, to look ratty and falling apart....or maybe carry a duffel in some way that doesn't look like your an experienced hiker. Carry a duffel inside, learn the diamond hitch, and strap up a frame later, once your in the woods...

Thanks for sharing this ! Something that may work equally well, or maybe better, try using wide packing tape....that may be wide enough to not have to overlap strips. My only question is, if you get a sticky residue when you take the tape off, how do ya clean it while being careful with chemic...

I don't have this phone, but as with many battery powered devices, this may work ; open it, pop the battery out, blow out any dust and lightly polish the contacts with just a clean cloth, try it again. Also, try and wiggle the battery back and forth against the springy contacts.....sometimes ...
