I believe you were correct the first time,. It was released 11/59 by Dion &
Belmonts. Dion DiMucci Lead Tenor, backed up by Carlo Mastroangelo, Angelo D'Aleo & Fred Milano. The '57 Belmont tunes had Carlo as lead tenor, sans Dion.
