Here's an odd thing - I have the first Klaatu album from 1976 (12" vinyl) and this track is titled "Sir Boddsworth Rubblesby III" yet most You Tube listings show it as Rugglesby - the lyrics are definitely pronounced "Rubblesby" - go figure.

Nothing unlucky about hearing Roger Waters sing, he sings with passion not equalled by many, raw and with courage of the heart - listen again if you can. He was (is) a bigger part of Pink Floyd than most realise. He is the music maker.

Why would you avoid the 6th string? It's an E note the same as the 1st string, and gives the chord a fuller sound, in my opinion. Personally I use my 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers to play an open A, because (a) that finger group is slightly smaller and fits into the fret space more easily, and (b), ...

In Australia it's used by Allianz Insurance in TV commercials, etc :)

OMG - that's the worst attempt at sub-titles that I have EVER seen. Tragic really.

I've always loved this clip - the poor guy from shedworld showed a lot of patience with what he must've thought was a crack-pot.

It would be nice to see a longer clip - surely there's something in the archives.
