lthough there are some hardcore influences in death metal that causes some amazing music
check out The Crows Know Something - ...From the Deep. they are like hardcore expiremental tech death but have insane grooves in the vein of meshuggah.
also deadhorse in pretty sweet (actual hardcore not fucking breakdowns... hardcore is shit like black flag the nummies etc) and battle pig is also quality music.
