I never know what to write in these things, haha. Bear with me.

So, uh. Hey.

I'm just a friendly kitty who likes traveling, meeting new people, drawing, and music. A lot of my online handles involve YOSHI, ignore that. You make your usernames stupid things when you're 13.

Self esteem issues prevent me from improving my art much and make me seem a bit shy, but if you strike up a conversation I'll gladly talk.

I love my music more than myself and I could frankly give a shit about whether or not you think I have good taste. But honestly, I'll listen to anything you throw at me and at the very least mildly enjoy it. My favourites span across punk, emo, and classic rock, as well as a bit of electronica (ambient, chillout, trance, techno) and jazz (fusion, acid) in there. I've developed a really strong liking for eastern sounds lately, particularly of the Indian variety, as well.

As well as liking music of all varieties, I play several instruments of my own. Quick rundown: Electric bass and bass clarinet are my primary ones, but I do know how to play a regular guitar, a bit of the piano, and bari sax. I've also been planning on learning the violin, so that I may be able to eventually move onto cello. I guess you could say that I sing, too. If you think screeching is singing. Well, I'm first tenor in my high school's concert choir, so I guess at least one trained professional thinks I can sing.

I also play in a band~ Here There Be Tygers, a self-proclaimed prog-rock group consisting of me on bass and a friend on drums. We've gone through a lot of members and this is all we're left with right now. The two of us are the only ones who've been here from the start. We're still working on getting stuff recorded (constantly changing members is NOT good for productivity) but feel free to check out our YouTube channel or our last.fm page:

I'm a hockey player without a home right now. My tournament team's (Sacramento Northstars) home rink, Iceland in Sacramento, recently burned down and that, as you might be able to guess, is no good for any team. Our season ended prematurely as a result of this. However, my REAL home rink up at South Lake Tahoe is still standing, and sometimes you might be able to catch me up there at adult drop-in or public stick time. I'll be the short faggot wearing the white number 74 Okanagan Hockey School jersey, more than likely. I play right wing, and I have way more assists than I do goals, something like 10 for each goal. I'm too lazy to check. Normally I'll be number 64 on the Tahoe Grizzlies, although last season there was no team. Here's hoping that changes this season!
