"In Universal Studios Florida (currently known as "Universal Orlando"), from 1990 to 1996, the Ghostbusters set up a franchise so you could...Be a Ghostbuster! You meet a guy named Louis Tully, who is not only a CPA, but the Junior Assistant Vice President in Charge of Finance for Ghostbusters, Inc. After a few quick, promotional pre-show experiments, he guides you and the rest of the audience into the room where all ghosts are stored, the Ectoplasmic Containment Chamber, where the franchise seminar continues..."
This show was considered as one of the most popular in Universal Studios ever. However, it closed November 9th, 1996 to be replaced by the "still-standing" attraction, "Twister...Ride It Out!"
To all the Ghostbusters fans out there, this video is dedicated to you.
Let's hope that the releases of the Real Ghostbusters complete DVD collection, the new video game, and not to mention the 25th Anniversary of the first film on Blu-ray, will spark 'em back into action!
