Mostly traditional Irish, Scottish, and maritime Canadian music, performed on a variety of acoustic instruments.
About Me:

Jesse Ferguson is a poet and musician, specializing in celtic music. He grew up in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. He plays a Washburn acoustic guitar, a Hondo Mandolin and a generic bodhran. He also plays pennywhistle, fife, bagpipe chanter, fiddle and various percussion instruments. For those who are interested, he's of Scottish and French descent. Also, when he plays Irish or Scottish "rebel songs," he doesn't take any side in the longstanding political quarrels in Ireland and the UK. For him, the music is the important thing.

* My CD, New Old Songs, is now available for purchase: http://cdbaby.com/cd/fergus... I recorded and mastered this solo CD (I play all instruments on it), and I also designed it. It is also available at: Product sales page: http://Kunaki.com/Sales.asp...

Hello Bard, I've enjoyed your music for sometime. I was wondering if you could help me come up with the name of a song I saw performed in my local boozer. It was a Newfie song, and the chorus went something such as "Haha, A-diddly aye-a me boys!". ANy insight would be grand. Keep up the good work!

Dear Bard of Cornwall,

I have been a fan of your music since I accidentally stumbled upon your video for "Maggie" over a year ago whilst browsing youtube for traditional Scottish music for a school project. I fell in love with your voice and the soul you pour into so many wonderful traditional songs. You are such a talented musician, and I just wanted to express my appreciation for what you do. Thank you for sharing your music with us.
I'm sure you have gotten requests plenty of times, and I don't know if you take them or not but I thought I'd add mine to the list just in case. I really love the English ballad "Scarborough Fair." It's such a lovely tune and I am particularly partial to Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel's rendition. I have heard a few other versions but I would love to hear you play it and am certain that if you do it will top any version I've heard yet.
Thanks for your consideration.
God Bless

Sincerely,
A fan and fellow musician
