Meine MALEREI ALS EREIGNIS ist eine PROZESSMALEREI, in der Malerei, Tanz und Musik interaktiv mit anderen Künstlern zu einem Kunstwerk wird. Dieses Konzept wurde von mir als Urheberin ab 1975 kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt. Dazu Heinz Ohff:"...das missing link zwischen klassischer Malerei und Performance..."
My PAINTING AS AN EVENT is an interactive PROCESS PAINTING (created since 1975) with other artists, in which performance and painting does become an artwork (almost videos and photoreports are included). Add to this, art journalist Heinz Ohff: "... we can see that Barbara Heinisch has managed to reunite two strongly opposed tendencies: the performance and the good, old panel painting - a missing link between the offshoots of anti-art in the tradition of Duchamp, Beuys and Vostell and traditional painting..." (out of "Realism and Expressionism in Berlin Art", Frederick S. Wight Gallery, Los Angeles 1980).
