Words will never be enough to express just how much I loved Pastor Walton! He was more than a Pastor, he was a father figure...even to those who already have fathers in their lives! He was a friend, a comedian, and just an all around plain old nice down-to-earth kinda guy! I miss him sooo very much, and pray for his family, our church family, and myself that we will all get through this difficult time together and rejoice in knowing that he is at rest with the Lord and no longer has to suffer! Never once did I hear him complain over the past 13 years that we were blessed to have him as our pastor! 13 years of dialysis treatment, taking multiple medications, having ear surgery, and not even being able to make a fist because of having Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands and having surgery on both hands for that as well! No matter what he was faced with...he endured it like the good soldier he was! Many times coming right off of the dialysis machine and officiating funerals and weddings and never once complained! I guess that's why his favorite song and testimony was "I won't complain!" There is so much that I could say about "My Pastor"...I loved him with everything in my soul, and as he often said at funerals...if love could have kept him here, he would still be with us today...but God loved him most!!! He will forever live on in my heart and he will always be "My Pastor"...I LOVE YOU PASTOR WALTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am just a very chill, down-to-earth, every day typa brotha who enjoys the company of good people and conversation (especially those of the older generation), and just enjoy having fun and making people laugh! I enjoy cooking and eating some good ole soul food and washing it down with some sweet tea and or Kool-Aid...LOL!!!!! I am also a proud member of the Union Baptist Church located in Virginia Beach, VA where The Rev. Dr. Thomasine Reid is serving as Interim Pastor, and I am honored to serve as the Media Ministry Coordinator, Middle/High School Sunday School Teacher, Vice-President of the Pastor's Aide Ministry, an Armor-Bearer, and a member of the Building Committee!!!!!
