Hi i am 29 yrs old and have been keeping tropical fish for over ten yrs now.Aswell as fish im a big fan of MMA especially UFC and STRIKEFORCE,my favorite fighters are fedor emelinenko, randy couture, frank mir, chuck liddel, anderson silva, gegard mousassi, junior dos santos, cain valaskez,the nogueras and kenny florian.i have 3x 100 imperial gallon+ tanks.I started out a long time ago with angel fish and cardinal tetras in a 36"x18"x12" but now im more of a big cichlid fan.Although i do still love peaceful fish like eartheaters, tetras and corys.

TANK MAINTENANCE
All of my tanks are lit using t5 lighting and are filtered by fluval fx5,s which work great and arent too noisy.I built the fish tank units myself which saved me alot of money and they are very strong.I just worry sometimes that they might go through the floor cos their all upstairs!!!!!Especially when friends and family come round.I perform a 40-50% water change once a week and clean the filters out once every 3 months.I use seachem prime to dechlorinate the water and remove exess amonia,nitrate etc.And i use nets full of coral gravel to buffer/stabilise the ph and hardness as the water is very soft where i live(3 cups/100 imp gallons seems to do the trick).Finally i feed my fish a diet of tetra prima,tetra pro flake food,hikari cichlids pellets(growth and colour) and also they love to eat prawns.And also i feed my catfish and plecos algae wafers and sinking wafers which they enjoy very much.And just to add i never feed my fish any types of live food cos not only is it cruel but live foods can introduce lots of disease and parasites into your aquarium which can kill much loved and expensive fish!!!!!
