This October sees Bally unveiling its new London flagship store (the first in 20 years) designed exclusively by David Chipperfield Architects and based on New Bond Street in the heart of Mayfair - one of London’s most fashionable, iconic, shopping destinations.
We are celebrating the Grand Opening by launching the new #BallyMayfairWelcome series which is a curated collection of unique content.
Bally arranged to meet a handful of interesting and varied neighbours in Mayfair, some of whom run family businesses which have been in the area for hundreds of years.
The first to be interviewed is Loïc Le Gaillard from The Carpenters Workshop Gallery, one of two French partners who founded the gallery in 2005 in Albemarle Street, Mayfair. As monsieur Le Gaillard explains, the gallery which deals in contemporary art and design, values form over function with pieces imbued with emotional charge that have a story to tell. The Carpenters Workshop Gallery represents upcoming and established designers such as Atelier Van Lieshout, Random International, Wendell Castle and Rick Owens.
As London continues to be the centre of art and fashion, with Mayfair at the epicenter, it’s only fitting that Bally should open a store here and jointhose in Mayfair as a leading purveyor of luxury design and fashion.http://carpentersworkshopga...http://functionandmodernity...
