@MainOirdb A longline setup like the one in this video will run you about $1000. You can vary the components a bit and save a little cash. It's always good to get a good tensioning system for yourself that will last you for years and years. You can get all this stuff at balancecommunity (dot) com.

You should absolutely not be using carabiners on the anchors for this line (especially with how much tension you have on that line). Also, those anchor slings are far from adequate for this kind of line.

  @swanna89 The shackle that is being used in the video is a 1/2" anchor shackle. The size of shackles that will work with the old AWL are 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4". Only the 1/2" ones will fit through the anchor hole of the SMC pulleys though.
