PETA's BSL argument and agenda, in clearer example.

Petard: White cars are DEADLY! EVIL!! They kill people! They always wreck - sooner or later, if you drive a white car, it's going to just smash into something. They can't be driven safely!!!111! PROTECT THE CHILDREN!!!!

Logic: White is the single most common color. Of course there are going to be accidents that involve white cars. The percentage of white cars on the road is higher, thus if you only take the number of accidents that involved white cars and compare it to number of accidents involving blue cars, it APPEARS more white cars wreck because there's four times as many white cars as blue. But tit's deceptive. Compare 1 million white cars to 1 million blue, and there is absolutely no difference whatsoever. Numbers can lie if you ignore percentages. Also, accidents are caused by operator error, not the car flipping out by itself.

If BSL is supposed to be based upon a particular breed's history and what they were bred to do and not do, it is clear there is an agenda at foot. APBTs were bred to NOT have human aggression. Feisty willingness to throw down toward other four-leggeds, yes. But it is not automatic, nor is it a given. Your dog - regardless of breed - will do what it is encouraged and trained to do...by YOU. If you let your dog act antisocial and aggressive or encourage it, it will be antisocial and aggressive. The APBT and Staffordshire Bull Terriers were bred to be the perfect FAMILY pet. They adore humans. A mixed breed dog is not an APBT nor Staffy. It is a mutt.

Bite statistics have been altered in the U.S. after trying to label purebred APBTs and Staffys as evil didn't fit the facts. That agenda at foot again. In the case of the APBT, it has been expanded to include any breed of dog or mutt that remotely resembles an APBT; they call them Pitbull Types. That is NOT a specific breed, and it certainly isn't an APBT. It is an intentional lie to try and destroy the breed. 25-30 wildly varying breeds of dog - some of which were bred over many years to have human aggressive willingness because they were bred to be guard dogs - being used to create a totally nonfactual 'down the rabbit hole' picture. Just because a dog has short hair and a short muzzle, doesn't mean it's an APBT or Staffy. One last oddity, to make of as you will. Supposedly the Pitbull Type; which BSL has labeled as a breed unto itself; is the single most common pet canine in America. Yet, when yearly Top 10 Most Common/Favorite lists of dogs are released every January, the Pitbull Type is nowhere to be found on it. Not even the 25-30 individual breeds. Not a one. Check for yourself, then stop and think about what that means.

About 'Sea Kittens' - Peta's latest re-re campaign to save the fish. Funny how the word 'kitten' never made a difference before to them when picking felines up in their killing vans or at their 85-98% kill rate 'shelters.' Guess only fish have a right to be 'saved' and live. Clearly, PETA is and has been waging a war against domestic animals, and specifically our pets. Don't take my word for it - go read Ingrid Newkirk's own words, and PETA's mission statement. They want your pets gone forever. Better to be dead than share a loving home with a caring human, according to them. It's madness, yet they have gotten laws that affect ALL of us passed. They are nothing but a false-face, with a public front of stupid publicity stunts designed to make YOU think they are daft, yet harmless. Don't believe the hype. Do your research, and see for yourself.
