I was discovered by Sherwood Gorbach and Barry Goldin. They were trying to create a new and better strain of probiotic and they found me. That's why my actual name is Lactobacillus GG. My friends just call me LGG. Or Larry. You could say I was always the white sheep of the bacteria family. It made me mad that so many people think all bacteria is bad. That's why I took a solemn vow to fight bad bacteria wherever it resides and to restore the good name of bacteria.
