(Seeing them in action, I have to reassess my long-standing skepticism about "original instruments" -- a movement that strikes me generally as just an antiquarian fetish, made all the more irritating by break-neck "scholar-approved" tempi that kill the music, but THESE musicians, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra playing the Brandenburg Concerti, they're from another galaxy. They make me forget all that and I simply fall in love with them, every time!)
