Hi everyone, My name is Davis,
My friends call me DLo.
About me..hummmm, lol Well, I was raised in Puerto Rico. Ran track, Played basketball for 5yrs for church, and even did alittle boxing almost made it to golden gloves until i got my butt kicked and my mom would'nt sign the slip anymore (record 15/1 btw)..jeez..just once and you cant box no more...lol
Anyways was only 115-125lbs skinny but ripped beyond belief, just very nice. My family came to the U.S. in hopes of the good ole american dream. went to work and to a gym for the first time ever. met some amazing people and decided I wanted to be a bodybuilder (keep in mind im only 5'6"). got a trainer placed me on mass shakes, eating like crazy, and with hard work after about a yr, no drugs, i was at 155lbs w/12% body fat, i was living my dream as far as getting bigger!!. then my trainer wanted me to become a trainer and almost did. I learned alot!, Got married insted settled down ate home cooked meals. in a few yrs i was up at 245lbs. Health issues came along. My doctor advised me on losing the pounds or I would be in trouble. in about 1 1/2 yrs dropped to 178-189lbs and been steady there. I trained my 17yr old from skin and bones to a mega ripped body. Like in spiderman. He listen to every word i said, did everything i ever told him w/out questioning it! and he looks amazing.
one day he and I was looking at my old videos when i was his age and he looks at me and says "Daddy, you were bigger that me muscle wise back then, what happened?"
made me take down my body fat % got the p90x dvd's. All of the sudden my friends(which are the best friends GOD ever blessed me with) issued a challenge about losing the bodyfat and getting the abs back. took it as a sign and ran with it. im 180lbs, day 1 was 07/23/09 w/21.2% bodyfat and by dec 15th of 2009 gotta bring it down to as close as 12 as i can, for 2 reasons, 1 to not lose the challange and 2 (most important one) to show my son i can bring it back and even better than my old days....lol
